About Maine CDL Handbook 2023

In Maine, there are plenty of opportunities to drive a commercial vehicle for a living…as long as you have a license. Known as a commercial driver's license, the application for a five-year license is $34; for those over the age of 65, this reduces to $28 but the license only lasts for four years. Additionally, you'll need to have a medical certificate and the written exam requires an initial investment of $70. With this in mind, you don't want to take it easy and fail otherwise you'll have to do it all (and pay it all) again. Therefore, choose our brilliant resources. While Class A vehicles require a 70-question test, both Class B and C only have 50 questions. Either way, you need to practice and cover the important topics, so you feel confident walking into the exam room. We can also assist with endorsements including doubles/triples, school buses, air brake restriction removal skills, hazardous vehicles, tank vehicles, and passenger buses. Get on the open road sooner by studying for your CDL test with us!
